Strategic Goals:
Engaged as Team Lead to deploy Allscripts EMR to over 1,200 physicians in greater than 200 physical locations in Chicago and Central Illinois within 5 years while integrating acquisition sites into global implementation plan.
Scope of Work:
· Led a team of seven analysts who participated in small (10 users) and large (380 users) scale projects/tasks which included implementations, end user support and change requests.
· Performed planning, analysis, design and build activities for implementing and maintaining the Allscripts EHR including the maintenance and development of implementation Organizational Process Assets (OPA’s) that served as resources for future implementations.
· Worked independently with providers to design/implement technology that met their business requirements while still staying within Allscripts EHR standards.
· Utilized technical and user knowledge/expertise to help analysts and business community make appropriate business decisions that helped fully utilize internal resources and save money on unnecessary customizations.
· Developed the Allscripts EHR Education program which included end user and preparing trainers to conduct classroom and onsite training.
· Provided technical leadership by acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to my colleagues and application users.
· Supported go live activities by helping clinicians through challenges utilizing the new EMR.
· Provided technical knowledge to the Clinical Informatics team to determine ways to streamline workflows for the clinicians.
