Michelle Vant

Michelle Vant is the Founder and President of Ductus Management, LLC.  Ductus Management is a consulting firm that works with health care organizations to streamline their program, project and portfolio management activities via a Project Management Office (PMO), if this is warranted.  The organization was founded when Rush University Medical Center invited Michelle to serve as the Program Director in its Information Systems PMO.  In this role, Michelle led the program to deploy Philips Physiological Monitors across the entire system and she worked with the PMO Director to streamline the PMLC and effectiveness of the PMO. 

Prior to this, Michelle served as Director Project Management Office (PMO) at Advocate Health Care where she led a number of strategic system wide initiatives at Advocate including the Pharmacy Central Service Center Program and the ICD-10 and Clinical Documentation Improvement Program along with the implementation of 3M 360 Encompass.  Earlier work includes One Voice: Language Services and the Aramark Transition projects.  Prior to her work in the Project Management Office, Michelle was an IT Team Leader on the Ambulatory EMR team which focused on implementing the Allscripts Enterprise solution at all Advocate Medical Group sites of care.   

Prior to joining Advocate, Michelle worked as a Business Systems Analyst at Gannett Healthcare Group (publishers of Nursing Spectrum magazine) and was the Director of Business Systems at Carus Publishing Company (publishers of Cricket and Ladybug magazines).  Additionally, she worked in a Product Manager role for The Media Services Group, Ltd.   

Finally, Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Carthage College, Kenosha, WI, her Masters of Science degree from Pace University, New York, NY and her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.  She actively engages with the Project Management Institute (PMI) Chicagoland Chapter and previously served as the Director of Member Analysis.  Michelle is also actively working to achieve her Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) professional certification sponsored by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
